Qinghai Project

May 13, 2025

In July 2020, Mingjie Group completed the installation and commissioning of multiple pyrolysis plants in Qingdao. The pyrolysis project uses advanced continuous pyrolysis equipment to deeply transform plastic waste. After a year of careful construction, the pyrolysis project was successfully completed and put into operation.

The pyrolysis plant can be used to treat municipal domestic waste, greatly saving construction and management costs. The plastic pyrolysis equipment can convert organic matter in the waste into new energy sources such as pyrolysis oil, synthesis gas and carbon black. In order to ensure that flue gas emissions meet environmental standards, Mingjie Group has designed a special flue gas purification system.

Prospects of Plastic Pyrolysis Project

At present, plastic products are widely used in many fields. The annual output of waste plastics in the world remains high, and the demand for waste plastic treatment has been released accordingly. Pyrolysis treatment is a chemical recycling technology with advantages such as higher utilization value and less pollutant emissions. Against the backdrop of increasingly serious global plastic pollution, pyrolysis technology will be more widely used, and the scale of the waste plastic pyrolysis oil industry will also expand accordingly.

Compared with traditional plastic incineration treatment methods, plastic pyrolysis can effectively reduce energy consumption and reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Continuous pyrolysis equipment uses advanced pyrolysis technology to harmlessly dispose of waste plastics. The pyrolysis plant pyrolyzes plastics through external heating in a low-oxygen or oxygen-free environment. It fundamentally eliminates dioxin emissions and achieves waste resource recycling and zero emissions.

Plastic pyrolysis equipment can process mixed plastics, including PP, PE, PS, PU, and PA.

The pyrolysis oil produced by pyrolysis of waste plastics can be used as a substitute for fossil fuels to reduce dependence on fossil fuels in various fields. The carbon black produced by pyrolysis is a carbon material with high specific surface area and adsorption properties, which can meet the market demand for carbon black.
